Vivo has unveiled the global release date for its recently introduced X300 series in China, which will take place on October 30. The X300 and X300 Pro, both equipped with the MediaTek Dimensity 9500 processor, will be presented online in Europe at 5:00 pm CET (8:30 pm IST). The series has already been officially listed on Vivo’s platforms in Austria and the Czech Republic.
Besides the global launch, Vivo is likely to make the X300 series available in India in the month of November. First estimates point towards the X300 Pro being priced slightly less than Rs 1,00,000 and the X300 being offered at a price of around Rs 70,000.
The X300 series displays the most advanced display technology alongside the most powerful performance. The Vivo X300 offers a 6.31-inch BOE Q10+ LTPO OLED display with a resolution of 1.5K and a refresh rate of 120Hz and has narrow, flat bezels. Its Pro version presents a bigger 6.78-inch micro-curved display and a similar resolution and refresh rate for a fully immersive experience.
The two versions operate on OriginOS 6, grounded in Android 16, and are powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 9500 chipset. Equipped with LPDDR5X RAM and UFS 4.0 storage, the devices are made for quick app launch and fast multitasking. The battery life is 6,040mAh for the X300 and 6,510mAh for the X300 Pro, both of which come with 90W wired and 40W wireless fast charging support.
Vivo is still working with Zeiss in the camera area. The X300 has a 200MP Samsung HPB main sensor, a 50MP Samsung JN1 ultra-wide lens, and a 50MP Sony LYT-602 periscope telephoto lens, while the Pro model utilizes a 50MP Sony LYT-828 main sensor with a similar ultra-wide lens and an improved periscope telephoto setup.
Both variants employ Zeiss T* coatings to minimize reflections and improve color fidelity. Vivo has also incorporated the V1 and V3+ imaging chips, which enhances low-light photography and portrait shots. Besides these, the smartphones come with an IP68 rating making them resistant to water and dust, as well as a fingerprint sensor that operates on ultrasonic technology embedded in the display for added security.
Vivo is likely to reveal additional X300 series accessories as part of the launch event, although no specifics have come out yet.
